Rotary Machine Weight VS Unwanted Weight Induced Marring
Just like the Title States:
I would like to start a open discussion on the weight of large (or heavy) Rotary polishers which in my experience causes a more aggressive cut which induces more marring and heat then needed. In return this heavy machine can make it more difficult to refine holograms due to excessive weight barring down on flat surfaces (i.e. the hood, roof, deck lid).
I personally LOVE the compact size and light weight of the flex PE8 kompact parred with my 6.5" pads, 5.5" pads, and I have even ran a 8" wool pad but do not recommend it.
By comparing finishing results of my pe-8 vs my dewalt 849 i truly believe the pe-8 is much easier to work with.
