    Prima products. Your take.

Yesterday I used the Hydro for the first time. I believe 4x and a few others recommended it. Love it, as a drying aid/wax topper it shined (pun intended). I'm curious about the entire product line. They are very reasonably priced and read well in their descriptions. What have you used, in what manner, and what do you think. Appreciate your responses. Take care.

    Peace,

    Re: Prima products. Your take.

I am no expert so take it for what it's worth.

I got turned into them early in my detailing and it was on a black Mini Cooper. I used Swirl, Amigo and Hydro. I really thought it made the black pop. Fast forward to now and I have a silver car. I used Amigo and Hydro products. For me they work fine (apply and come off easy etc) but the finish isn't "wow".

Having said that it could just be me. I am trying plenty of different products thanks to all the advise here but haven't found that "wow" product for silver yet. Maybe it doesn't exsist because silver is just a tough color.

I love the Prima line also .... Slick, Hydro Max and more. Nice products that work as advertised.

    For Goin2drt:
My daily driver is also silver, and I found Hydro Max and Optimums Car Wax look nice and warm. The silver takes on a glow. That said, I prefer to use the Spray Booster from G-technic or Carpro's Reload for a brighter more reflective look.

Glad you liked hydro (wax as you dry). Wait till you try hydro max! (One of the best and easy to use sealants out there IMO)

And many thanks to you. Your excitement about their products led me to my purchase. The Hydro, for the price, is a no-brainer.
Which is good for me. Looking forward to trying more products. Thanks again. Take care.

The only product I've used is Amigo, but I really like it. When applied to dark colors and topped with a good LSP like 845, the results are amazing.

Once I clear out some of the products in my garage, I'm seriously looking at Infinity for my trim/tires.

You will be happy with every product in the Prima line. The only product that disappointed me a bit was the wash soap. It was ok and not great. Everything else I have used is top notch.

You will love Hydro Max !!!!

    Re: Prima products. Your take.

I used to use Prima exclusively and I also sold them.

Here is a list of products I've used with my personal impression of them:

Mystique - wash. I found it was OK. Very little suds.

Amigo - filler for darm colors. I still use it on occasion.

    Swirl - wasn't a bad starter 2 in 1 compound and polish.

Finish- a polish. I find it doesn't finish as well as other products I have moved unto.

Epic - synthetic wax. I completely stopped using it as it stains black trim HORRIBLY.

Banana Gloss - light wax. Looks great on dark paint. Doesn't last long.

Nero - vinyl/rubber protectant. I still use this on the interior sometimes. Dries matte.

Clarity - glass cleaner. I had ok results.

Infinity - nice trim glaze. I still use it on occasion to black trim.

Cosmonot - removes cosmoline. Works vert well, but don't use it on non-cleared paint... it will remove the paint.

Wheel Armour - wheel wax. Worked ok... seemed to not last long tho.

Slick - quick detailer. Worked alright.

These are my personal opinions for the products. I never tried the Hydro line.
