Auto Magic or Meguiars for drying aid?

I've been researching drying aids to help prevent marrying when drying and add a layer of protection. Everyone is loves Meguiars M156, but I stumbled across Auto Magic Hydro Shine and its intended use is on wet vehicles. Has anyone used Hydro Shine? Or should I stick with the M156?

I'll do everything in my power to prevent you from getting married when you are drying!

    So I'll suggest:
    Stick with D156!!

My vote would be D156. It's such a great product. I have used Auto Magic #49 and I think Megs is much better.

Matt, afraid I can't help ya' with getting married, not after over 37 years being married myself. (Sorry.... just couldn't help myself.)

But..... you should REALLY get a bottle of Duragloss Aquawax. It is as good as you'll get, and is incredibly slick! We keep 2 gallons of spray waxes on hand at all times, Megs 156 and Duragloss 951 (well it's 952 in the gallon size). Another Duragloss item you should grab is Fast Clean & Shine. It's great as a QD/waterless by itself, but mix it 75/25 with AW and it'll ramp up to something really special!

I actually use AutoMagic Hydro Shine. It one of the only products from AutoMagic that I use. Along with XP Cool Blue for a water based tire and trim dressing. Hydro Shine works great with a plush micro. It drys great with no marring. And it beads water for up to 3 weeks. Meg's D 156 is great to. I have used both with great results.

+1 on the Duragloss fast clean & shine mixed with aquawax 3:1. Won't create buildup and makes the drying towel absolutely glide across the paint.
