Are Pinnacle Foam Applicators Best?

The 10 cent version cannot be linked here but I will tell you they come from China are sold on a website that begins with a E and ends with a y.

I will add I have been using the hex gripped applicators for Sonax PNS exclusively and they do work really well for that. Mine are red foam on the bottom though if that makes any difference.

I really like those Pinnacle foam pads and buy them by the dozen. These pads are just so nice I've sort of settled on them some time ago. I'm sure there's others out there but these work and I always get mine through Autogeek...

The absolute BEST foam applicator I have ever used are the blue ones from Surf City Garage.

They are extremely durable and the foam composition is very soft and the product spreads much further with less product when using them compared to yellow applicators.

They kind of remind me of the old black swissvax applicators that DD sold which were grossly overpriced.

the best way to describe it is that the yellow foam feels a bit coarse with some cleaning ability. they are also very porous. the SSG blue foam is extremely dense, the product sits at the top and they dont feel to have any cleaning ability. For liquid products nothing I have found works better.

but on the flip side, for paste wax's I think the yellow foam disks work better.
