Which coating will fill the Opti-Coat 2.0 void?
Now that Opti-coat 2.0 is no longer available (to most of us), what is the next best paint coating? Anyone who has tried multiple coatings, please share your experiences here.
Which had the best longevity, best anti-static properties, easiest to apply, best overall protection?
I would do a comparison test myself, but then my fiance would kill me for spending all of our wedding money on paint coatings. She just doesn't understand what a great investment that would be.

I have been using CQuartzUK and it is a great coating. Easy to apply and looks fantastic.
If you wanted to stay the Optimum route. Go with the one that took its place.

there are so many out there, you have your choice of them. CQuartz, Bullet Proof, Americoat, Pinnacle Black Label are just a few

IMO: None!!
-Will there ever be another "permanent Coating",
in the same vein as OC 2.0?
-I'll say: No!

try Gloss-Coat.
Dr. G isn't an idiot. he says it's better in every way with similar protection properties...and it's the latest coating released, which means to me that he's modified it to exceed expectations based on what else is out there outside of the OPT line.

Allow me to be the first to replay the old adage:

I hope your most recent play isn't supposed to be quoting me. I didn't say it had to be in the same vein as Opti-coat 2.0. But something has to take the place of the best available, whether it is as good as the previous champion or not.

Who is Dr. G? There's no G in Mike Phillips... jk, I've heard a lot of people complaining about Gloss-Coat costing almost as much as OC2 while only giving half the product, but I have not heard any real reviews of the product itself.
