    Re: Blackfire rinseless streaking?

My truck was coated with cquk, and my brother's was done in m26 I believe. So I tried it on his truck and had the same trouble. I had never used it on my glass which is done with 845 and had not one lick of trouble.

The only way to figure this out...try another rinseless product. I have 3 diff ones so for me it would be easy.

    Re: Blackfire rinseless streaking?

I had issues using BFRW with Coll 845 as my sealant, so I switched to DGRW+AW as my rinseless with 845. I have no problems with BFRW when my sealant is a BF product.

This product has always been absolutely foolproof for me. Even at super high concentrations (like 1oz per gallon) on black paint.

I will say I havent used the product in a very long time and I notice that a lot of these products change slightly from batch to batch.

I did my traditional gdwm with it, used a waffle weave to dry it and followed behind with a microfiber for a final buff. Even still, I was left with streaking. The only way I've found to get rid of it without rubbing fairly hard is to follow behind with a qd (I use af finale). Is there a trick to using this that I'm missing?
I know this might sound counter-intuitive but I suggest trying a higher concentration. It might be that you paint is dry and/or soaking in the protection of the product unevenly.

I typically always double the dilution on rinseless wash products. The only ones that ever give me problems at high concentrations are Optimum ONR and ONRWW. Those are the only ones that I follow the directions to a tee on. (or better yet I no longer use them at all).

another thing to try would be to dilute some in a sprayer and spritz the panel before drying it off.

I have never had any streaking unless paint is warm or out in the sun. I use this product for clay lube, rinseless wash, and instant detailer at various dilutions. I use it every week and the only time I had a problem was doing a car that sat in the sun. Good luck

I will try it again tonight at a higher dilution and see what that does on the CQUK.

    Re: Blackfire rinseless streaking?

None at all. I used it in some spots at double dilution, some at double as a waterless and every spot, the same streaky looking haze. The only thing I did notice was that where I had upped the dilution, the haze wiped off without anything needing to be applied to it. I missed jmsc's post earlier, and I had used onr, turtle wax and onrww and never had any trouble at all. I bought some more turtle wax to try to see if maybe my problems aren't with the bfrw. I had run out of both onr and tw, so I wanted to try something new and was torn between iudj and bfrw, and went with bfrw based on price.
