    I think what they are trying to say is they use the solution in their buckets as it was used for washing.

    I've done this too and found it to be about one of the best ways for preventing marring.

    It was my understanding that contamination correction was a stand-alone step and not to be combined with washing.

    Can anyone clarify?

    I was missing a key word.... it should have read "same solution...". I clay after washing, but since I use the two bucket method my wash solution is always clean when I'm done. I use that solution as lube while claying.

    As for doing the steps separately, I think Nanoskin has a couple of mits on the market that allow you to clay while you wash.

    I used the Nanoskin sponge yesterday on my wife's car. I used a mix of 2 oz ONR to 32 oz of distilled water. It worked really well, once I figured out how much lube to use. The whole process took less time, and was easier, than I thought it would be. I think I need to trim my nails though.
