Migliore Strata Coating vs CQuartz
Check out this shot of Migliore Strata comparison against CQuartz. I must admit I am quite impressed.

Re: Migliore Strata Coating vs CQuartz
I'm not impressed at all by that picture. You can see the scratches on the left but they're faint because they don't have light shining directly on them.
Claims like this make me NOT want try the product.
It's ludicrous to believe that a coating is going to keep a Brillo pad from scratching the surface anyway.
For instance there was a video online of a carbon fiber hood being struck with a plastic lighter claiming that a certain coating kept it from being scratched unlike the other 3 or so coatings that were on the hood. You can fool a lot of people with proper camera angles.
I don't want any "Hollywood" products
Sorry for the rant and it's definitely not directed toward you. I just hate claims like this.

Re: Migliore Strata Coating vs CQuartz
Those pictures are 'thrown' and I couldn't get any important info coming from them, apart from great cars pictures, but that's engineers merit, not any polishing or coating...
I also agree with twictch77 regarding Hollywood products. Once I've saw a claim of a coating where they tested using some Acid, then stated: NEVER try to do this.
Makes me wonder... if it resists acid and this is the test, why should I never do this?
One more against the claims here.
Kind Regards.

You are referring to Ceramic Pro. Its an amazing coating and you shouldn't count it out without trying it.

You are referring to POLISHANGEL COMSIC resisting scratching. It's linked on my site.
First off I have done that test on my own personal cars and it certainly does resist scratching to that degree. I used plastic stick, wood block and a metal key chain.
Next that coating is has an independently tested 9H film hardness.
Don't discredit something you haven't tried so fast because of a photo or video.
There's a lot more to coatings than something durable.

I picked up two bottles during the last bogo, looking forward to at least trying them.

I don't see Migliore strata coating on AG anymore. Last time I saw it was on BOGO. Am I missing it or did AG stop selling it? If they stopped carrying it, I'm very curious as to why.

Re: Migliore Strata Coating vs CQuartz
Just to reiterate, my comments were not related specifically to any of products in question (which I haven't use yet), it's easy to read and understand:
... the pictures shown do not convince me (myself, only),
... I do not like claims where I'm advertised to not try reproducing it. If manufactory use keychain to test scratch resistance (and it won't scratch), I would be able to use my keychain and show others personally it won't scratch.
If not, I'm to believe in everything (from 'cheating' to fake keychain) but the coating scratch resistance.
That's just 1 man opinion (always open for changes if properly educated).
Thanks in advance.
Kind Regards.
