    If I had spent that much money... {~ $668.00 }

    on the "prep products" (machines, liquids, pads, clay/clay-lube, etc.)...

    $4.00 for a wax would be all that I could afford!!

    and while you are at it, should make a couple more threads "why I will never pay more than $2 for a t-shirt!" because you can buy a couple of white Ts for $2

    I couldn't imagine spending all that time polishing, prepping, planning just to slap a $4 was on their. While the pics do look great, paint looks great with nothing on it that's prepped right.

    I kind of think like Rock does. Why buy anything "nice" when you can just shop for it all at the Dollar Store ???

    Not to mention putting this wax on such a nice vehicle. Dont you think it deserves more than the dollar store wax?

    I'm not sure the wax had much to do with it after 105 and 205....

    It does look good that's for sure. I agree with not spending more than $20 on a wax also. It took me quite a while to bring myself to buy the Meg's UPW only after the numerous awesome reviews on here. I just couldn't bring used to drop almost $30 to "try" something new when there are others that I'm happy with for under that. To be completely honest, I don't know how some of these companies that charge over $50 for a small container of wax stay in business. For guys like us that are regularly cleaning/polishing/waxing our vehicles, what's the point of buying a wax that is gonna last a year or so when we're gonna take it off before then. I'm a huge OTC detailing hobbiest. I have had great results with only OTC products ever since I've started cleaning cars before I could even drive. I just don't see the point of spending more that $20-30 for a wax. Yeah, you might have to reapply it a little more often but I don't think that's an issue with us lol.

    Not to knock your $4 wax but if you took pictures before you applied the wax, I'm pretty sure the same shine would be there after all the prep products used.

    Hmm, I wouldn't call it dull..

    All these designer waxes that costs upwards of $50 sounds a bit ridiculous to me. It might add a certain pop but at the end of the day its just car owners wanting to spend more money on their precious cars/trucks. Its human nature that if you spend more on something that must mean its greater than the cheap products, right?
