    PlastX Review

    Hello, Long Time no See.

PlastX Is a great product. It clears the oxidation from your headlights to improve clarity and visibility. This is simple to use. First, Shake the product well. Second, squeeze out a medium size amount on a microfiber applicator pad. Then follow the next 2 steps as shown in the next pictures.

With medium pressure, rub in the product around the headlight. Please rub in a circular motion. Overlap 4-5 times.

Buff out and remove excess product by getting a microfiber towel and rubbing the product off with light to medium pressure. Then you have your end result as the picture shows.

Thanks for viewing and please leave feedback if possible.

Also my detailing Facebook page is linked below. I'm starting to write my reviews there as well. Have a nice day

Tried this method with hand and boy my headlight is so dead it only tickle it lol. I'm waiting for my backing plate to come to start a buff. I'm trying to stay away from sanding. So hopefully it'll work.

I love plastX I have always had great results, even using it by hand on light oxidation.

PlastX is a good product. I use it on headlights, taillights, even the plastic hood and side panels on my Cub Cadet. I use a white or green CCS pad on the DA. Takes out sanding scratches from 2000 grit sandpaper. Also use on the gloss plastic interior panels.

    Re: PlastX Review

I've used it on oxidized headlights for several years and really like it.

I've always applied it by hand, but I'm looking forward to the results I'll get with a polisher, now that I own one.

    Re: PlastX Review

I've used it every three months since buying my RAV in 08', brand new.
They still look like the day I bought the car.
I now seal it with Griot's Paint Sealant then top with NXT wax.
IMO its the best way to keep them from yellowing and hazing.
    A bottle last and last.
