BlackFire Gloss Enhancing Polish question
Hello,
I am using BlackFire Gloss Enhancing Polish and Wet Diamond sealant and wonder if I need to do IPA wipe or paint prep prior to apply the sealant after using Gloss Enhancing Polish?
Also, which foam pad should I use for BlackFire Gloss Enhancing Polish? (White or Gray CCS pad)
Thank you

Re: BlackFire Gloss Enhancing Polish question
Good question and I'm wondering how much cut does GEP have compared to say, PO85rd? Anybody know?

The GEP has no cut to it, as appose to the WGFG or PO85rd which have a very light cut

Re: BlackFire Gloss Enhancing Polish question
I just used that same combo on my car and it came out great. I didn't do a wash between the polish and sealant, although after reading some posts, maybe I should have. I started with a clay bar cleaning, then the polish using the 5.5" tangerine hydro pad on my PC at speed 5 and that cleaned up the paint nicely. As said, it has no cut so won't get out any defects but adds a marvelous shine. I then applied two coats of sealant (waiting the 12 hour cure time) using the PC and the crimson hydro pad at a speed setting of 3. The shine is outstanding and the slickness of the sealant is phenomenal! Good luck!

Re: BlackFire Gloss Enhancing Polish question
No need to wash between the two steps, done all three of my vehicles with this system and love it.
LC Foam Tangerine with GEP
LC Foam Crimson with the TPNS
Top with Midnight Sun or Crystal Seal and you'll be TOTALLY set.

Re: BlackFire Gloss Enhancing Polish question
Blackfire Gloss Enhancing Polish isn't a polish, its a paint cleaner and glaze combo.
Blackfire should really change the name, as the word 'polish', can make it confusing.
I personally really like GEP. It's easy to apply and remove and makes the paint feel very clean and smooth (plus it smells good). It's a great prep for the LSP of your choice such as BFWD. It can also help cover up light swirls and scratches.

Re: BlackFire Gloss Enhancing Polish question
So would it be more comparable to a chemical paint cleaner like P21s?

Re: BlackFire Gloss Enhancing Polish question
P21s=GEP=Pinnacle Paintwork Cleansing Lotion==>LSP=awesome shine and smoothness
