Re: CG Blacklight question ??
I used it on my truck over the weekend and was WOWed by the look.
Is it safe to use several times a year or should you only use it as needed to remove defects?

Use it as often as you want.
In my day we didn't have the Internet, iPods,iPads, or smart phones....but we had some really bad-azz cars.

Re: CG Blacklight question ??
Ive got to the point where I am putting a coat of Blacklight on followed by V7 after every wash each week. Was going to try Glossworkz but don't think it's available in Australia

Re: CG Blacklight question ??
I will be receiving a Griots DA polisher and some Chemical Guys products for Father's Day. I plan on using Blacklight as an AIO with the DA and a black 5.5" pad.
My question is: how long do I have to work the polish? Do I just need to make a few passes at a decent pressure? This will be my first time using a DA polisher.
Thanks in advance!

I had similar questions about Blacklight and called CG about it. George at CG said, BL is a glaze with a sealer in it. The sealer component, "it's not that great either, I'm not gonna tell you that, you know?", you can put a sealer over it.
Further I asked, "Does it have a cleaning agent in it?" "No it does not." "So I could put it on over wax and it wouldn't take the wax off?" "No sir." "But I would recommend put the wax over the glaze." Sorry to disagree with some of you but that's what they said.

I go with what guys who have used the product every day, for years like Todd Cooperider of DI. He wrote a long article on Blacklight and tested it for a solid year before publishing his findings. He used it on every single car that came through his business with every possible paint imaginable. That's what I'm talking about. The sales guy at CG frankly is not accurate at all

Yup, I just read his article and I agree, the guy who answered the phone at CG was mistaken. Kind of disappointing, thought I was going to the horses mouth as it were.
