hey somebody has a comment about...
hey i like to start a detail mobile
bussiness and still asking some questions, somebody has a comment about the labels on the power generator boxes saying something about the emissions they have and you cant use them on not well ventilated places like garages, or inside a van (for a detail mobiles bussines), is it true? cause those labels say that the carbon monoxide can be very dangerous even if you have doors and windows open, i mean, can i use if i have a van and want it to use on my bussiness?

Re: hey somebody has a comment about...
Well, presumably you won't be in the van when you're running the generator, you'll be outside of the van doing detailing, so you should be ok as long as you shut off the generator and let the van air out for a while after you're done (that's presuming that you had the windows/doors open while you were running it). Please be careful; there is a reason they make CO detectors (maybe putting one in your van will help you).

You have to run an exhaust vent outside from the muffler. Carbon Monoxide sticks and takes a while to air out. Its not worth the risk. Most people mount the compressor and run the exhaust out the bottom of the van. Just get some flex pipe from autoparts store and a hole saw and your good to go. Or you could just move the compressor so the exhaust is pointing outside.

Re: hey somebody has a comment about...
A friend of mine uses his 5000 watt inverter in his truck when he does his or friends cars. Its good and bad because if you are using the inverter your truck is running because its pulling the the power off the dual post battery. For him its no concern because his truck is diesel and you can run it all night and the gas gauge barely moves as well as doing no damage to the motor due to hours of time running at idle.
