Where can i pick up good working lights? How many watts? Would Sears or Home Depot carry them?

Anywhere from 500 watt to 1000 watts should be fine. It depends on your work space. Everone sells these work lights. Lowes, Home Depot, Pep Boys, Sears, etc.

I have the mega hi light its much better than halogens and does not produce heat but is more expensive.

Where can I see a picture of this light? I want a better lighting solution for working on interiors. Being mobile especially now that it is getting dark by 5 PM some of the lighting situations that I have to work in just stinks. I think halogens are a terrible source of lighting for working on interiors. I've been thinking about making my own mega light with either LED or florescent lights.

this lamps you can see them in the gas station on the roof or in the football stadium. i hope you can understand me .i have the light but in small version.let me check for one pic if i can post to you

So I was thinking again yesterday.... this time about portable florescent lighting. I thought about florescent tubes on a lighting stand and how they would be broken so easily in transport, so here's what I came up with. Get some sort of hard case such as a rectangular violin case and mount a few florescent tube lights inside the case then retrofit the mount for a crappy set of Husky halogens that I have to the violin case. This way I can set the stand up, grab the violin case and attach it atop the stand, open it up and plug it in. I'd have some decent portable lighting that when done with I could just close and latch the case and place it in my van where the tubes would be protected by the hard case. I am now in the hunt for the right hard case to build this.
