Will Poorboys Trim restorer leave smudges and come off on your fingers when you touch it, like when shutting the doors?

It dries to the touch, but I gotta ask. What self respecting detailer closes their doors by the B pillar/window frame? Push it closed with the grab handle, it's meant to be touched.

P.S My wife HATES that I ask her to close the door like this.. I always catch her shutting the door with the window frame/B-Pillar.

I do it because my handles are just too low and it's more convenient for me.

I use it for the interior dash, vinyl, and plastics. I love the way TR makes it look!

I use it a few different ways. Primarily I will apply it just after washing and claying on a car that is dried and polish ready. I apply it with a 1" solvent proof chip type paint brush to all the exterior rubber and black plastic trim pieces, especially the dried up looking door handles and tailgate handles that kind of glisten like there's little crystals in the plastic. (Ford Trucks have these) Ever get polish or wax on these dried up pieces?

Then I begin the processes of cutting and finishing the paint. If I had gotten any splatter or got a pad against any of these pieces they will wash clean with zero staining. By the time I am done polishing the car the trim restorer has pretty much done it's magic to the rubber trim pieces and they all look new again after the wash with no smudging onto other parts of the car. This is sort of like liquid tape to keep all that compound and polish residue off and out of the trim.

If I am just doing a wash and wax type of job I will apply it the same way as soon as I get the car and then I will set up my wash buckets, hose, chat a little with the customer etc. Next I just do the wash and wax and the Trim Restorer has already done it's magic.

Like the name suggests this product will restore trim to a newer look, I rarely just wipe on and walk away but it works that way too. If I do wipe it on and walk away it will completely dry in a few hours so there is no oily finger tip transferring after it has been given time to fully dry.

PB Trim Restorer is great! I use it on all exterior plastics on my Honda Element and Pilot. Live on the Oregon Coast (Rain) and it holds up very well. I apply it with the Cobra Flex Foam Tire Dressing Applicators and they work great!

I have a sample of Poorboys Trim Restorer coming today. I can't wait to try it. I doubt it will make much difference on my plastic bed rail caps though. I have a feeling the tops are a little too faded at this point, but I will try it.
