So as a safeguard, I use a sealant in case the guy decides to go drive in the rain 5 hours after I am done coating his car
Typically I use either CarPro Reload or Gtechniq C2V3. I have switched to Turtle Wax Ice as my sealant of choice so I used that for coatings too... and it doesn't seems to be a good idea so I went back to Reload.
But it has not had proper time to cure though.

Thanks for the clarification.
Ipso facto...
That still makes TW’s Shine and Seal
“thema non grata” on the AGO Forum.

I guess my continuous praise (during the last
nine years) of their chrome polish and rust
remover, hasn’t been enough of an attention
getter/free pub. I’ll see if I can’t put forth a
little more effort in the future.

•Speaking of AGO “non grata” products:
I remember—back in the day—I caught
hell for recommending a few of P&S’
chemicals/products.
But throw in a certain affiliate name or two:
their products suddenly became (almost like
magic) AGO-mainstream.
•Can The Turtle achieve such heights?
Please stay tuned.

Re: Turtle Wax Seal and Shine
I’be seen a few products talked about in this forum not carried by AG. 1st one I think I’ve seen have its own posts though. Maybe it’s ok now? I’ve seen links been removed but not threads locked. Speaking for past 8-9 months.

Absolutely, no need for links anyways, if people are interested in something being talked about they can just Google it

What happened when you used TW over your coating that did not play well?

Re: Turtle Wax Seal and Shine
Anybody used this over a layer of Collinite 845? Currently using Sonax PNS with a monthly follow up with Sonax BSD. If this would work as well or almost as well over 845, I would be happy with the easier application and slippery texture.
