Sonax Multi Star (10L) dilution ratios
Anyone know the recommended dilution ratios for the big jug of Sonax Multi Star? All I can find is on Amazon: "makes 50 gallons of cleaner." Is this true? If so, then cut approximately 20:1? I'm sure it is task-dependent. Also, anyone have experience with this product? Favorite uses for it? Thanks to all.

Re: Sonax Multi Star (10L) dilution ratios
My experience is pay attention to the manufactures suggestion and adjust off of it. Pay attention to what the surface you're trying to clean is and what you're trying to clean off it (type and amount). Start conservative and work up, being careful about what your risk is. On high risk areas (or difficult/expensive to fix), be careful about going past manufactures recommendations (or even at recommendation over multiple uses).
When using a cleaner new to you, I would work up from low risk areas/cars while I learn the cleaner. WATCH FOR HARSHNESS. You don't want to have to try bringing an interior back from a harsh cleaner.
If it says 1:20, I would start at 1:50 on any interior. And, that would be on an older, average priced commuter car.

1:5-1:50 is the recommended dilution. Dilution depends on the level of dirt you are cleaning. Test you way which suits your needs. Strong on the exterior and milder on interior. And as all chemicals don't let it dry on the surface and rinse well or follow up with a wet mf towel.

Re: Sonax Multi Star (10L) dilution ratios
- Very light cleaning - 50:1
- Interior, most plastic, engine bay, wheel well - 20 or 30:1
Sonax multistar in the ready to use 750ml bottle is 30:1. So I believe you should be OK with these ratio. However, like a previous poster said, learn the product and test it out first!
