Do any of the wheel cleaners offered by PBMG contain ABF?

I first clean the rim and tire with apc,then clean the wheel and barrels with a acid based product.for 10.95 a gallon I can't resist ,I've tried that iron x on wheels once horrible lingering smell all over your clothes and leaves the rotors big time etched and rusty.

Very interesting article,thanks for that info I will see if that wheel cleaner has that in it.If it deos I will have to switch.I once bought a e250 brand new as a mobile unit in a year the inside of the roof was rusted from the fumes.Thanks again for that info my wife has cancer stage 4 so I'm more aware of safety precautions now then before.

I'm sure he's using an HF/ABF wheel cleaner and a pressure washer. To me it's not magic but tradeoffs, and me personally I would never use that kind of wheel cleaner outside of a controlled industrial setting, but that's just me, and plenty of people do it.

I just looked at the bottle and it says voc compliant and no phosphates,will have to look into it further.

It's intended for professional use, by properly
trained professionals, using professional PPE.

For 10.00 by the time you get it to your door or more,you can easily blow thru that bottle on one car.so you are correct maybe good for weekend guys,but not for guys that blow thru 10 or more cars a week where time is crucial of no agitation.

If it works, and can be bought at local stores it could be a good solution for me to use on customers cars. I know I was using Dub Wheel Cleaner on a few clients cars I had who wanted it. I got the same results and it was considerably cheaper for me to buy 10 bottles of it over a gallon of Iron X or something similar. And if this product works like the Dub, I'd say for less picky clients an apply, let dwell and rinse would perfect. I know I could get about 2.5 gallons worth of DUB cleaner for the cost of 1 Sonax Wheel Cleaner jug.

There's already a product in the store for years it called hot rims.Ive bought that numerous times it's a good product for moderately caked brake dust.I think there is two versions of Meg's wheel cleaners you can get in the store.

Yeah, they sell drain cleaner in the supermarket, too, that's not exactly a barrel of laughs. It's just that unlike other acids, HF/ABF requires specific neutralizing agents, as FUNX posted. (Drain cleaner is a caustic, not an acid, just given as an example of other dangerous stuff we can run into every day)

And boy, we got this one pretty far off topic, eh?

Back on topic, this wheel cleaner seems like a great addition to the color-changing ranks, with fun packaging.

All kidding aside it's all good info but we now need a thread about the product itself and thoughts about it. Mine comes in tomorrow but I cleaned my car today so my own review with have to wait.
