As far as the built in water repellency claims, I've seen this assertion made by many window cleaners but have never noticed it action.
Clean one half the windshield with Wolfgang and the other with regular glass cleaner and compare the difference when it rains, or simply pour water on it. Of course if your windshield is coated then both sides will repel water anyway.

Wolfgang Perfekt Vision Glass Cleaner is about as safe a chemical as they come, so it will NOT cause harm to paint, rubber trim, etc. Unlike alcohol and ammonia based glass cleaners, over spray that lands on paint will NOT remove your LSP. Pretty cool, huh?
Also, it will not increase fogging when used on interior windows.
Thanks for info on inside

I cleaned my windows yesterday afternoon and so far, I haven't seen any fogging.
Under what circumstances are you speaking of? Right away? Or when it's cold or raining outside? I experience fogging in the inside glass when it's cold or raining outside even without using a glass cleaner though...
I'll have to do some post digging to see if I can find what I'm thinking of. I remember correctly I read that when some people waxed the inside of their windshield. Why they tried it, I have no idea lol.
If Nick says there's no change in fogging issues, I'd believe him. So it may be a moot point for this product. And thank you again for the great review. I always do enjoy your posts.

Here's the best I can do at the moment.

Re: Review: Wolfgang Perfekt Vision Glass Cleaner
Marc, thanks for a great review once again!
First and foremost, never attempt to clean glass that’s hot to the touch. Second, spray a liberal amount of cleaner directly onto the glass and wipe away residue using a Microfiber Glass Towel. Last, but certainly not least, spray the section you just cleaned with a FINE MIST of glass cleaner and use a second, CLEAN, DRY Microfiber Glass Towel to perform the final wipe. Use plenty of towels – one or two won’t cut it.

It seems like you used the product like most of us would use a glass cleaner; i.e. spray, wipe off, turn to a clean, dry section or use another towel and wipe again. But if you read the instructions carefully, they actually suggest to use ANOTHER fine mist of the product before the final wipe.
Did you try it that way? I'm wondering if it would make any difference..

Thanks for the compliments, Davey! I appreciate it.
Yes I saw that in the instructions but I didn't want to waste another clean microfiber towel. The section of glass I cleaned was the first time I used the microfiber shown in this review. So the towel wasn't saturated with product at all. So the other side of the towel I flipped, which is the farthest side of the towel from the side I used with the solution, is completely dry. In my humble opinion, I think this method would work so long as your towel is not saturated.
I think that PBMG stated to use a second towel for the drying phase to ensure EVERYONE will get a streak-free glass after using this product. Because if you have a hint of saturation in your microfiber towel, you will get streaks no matter how good the glass cleaner is. Maybe some people don't realize this so PBMG just put in the instructions to use a second towel and avoid people complaining that this glass cleaner $ucks because it streaks. This second towel will for sure be completely dry and eliminate the chance of streaking.
