Pinnacle Natural Brilliance Vinyl & Rubber Cleaner & Conditioner

    New SEMA product
Here is the product description: Pinnacle Natural Brilliance Vinyl & Rubber Cleaner & Conditioner: This luxurious, water-based lotion gently removes dirt, sun tan lotion, finger prints and smudges without leaving a greasy film. Treated surfaces will exhibit a low-gloss, satin-like sheen.
I asked Nick about this product and if it could be used on the exterior considering my interior is pretty much all plastic except for my shift boot. He told me it is not for exterior use, but can be used as a short-term tire dressing and that it is also designed for plastic despite not being mentioned anywhere in the description. Good thing considering my 2014 Honda Civic Si is mostly plastic.
DISCLAIMER: * Different vehicles use different materials and therefore your results may differ from mine. *

So here is a 50/50 on my door panel. As you can see, it’s not exactly even upon spreading. While I found it to be slightly self-leveling, you really have to go back over it several times with a microfiber towel to make it even.
Example #2. Smooth plastics are always tough for products and it is the same here. Notice the unevenness on the mirror controls and the lock button.

However, with a little effort, it evens out nicely

Now, here is my door sill. A little marked up and dirty.

Here I show the consistency of the product. It’s kind of thick, but still thin enough to run. It’s like a watered-down hand lotion and if you get it on your skin, it feels a little oily like a lotion despite being water-based.

And another 50/50. As you can see, it darkened the plastic, but didn’t mask the markings at all. Also, while the completed product is not pictured, the cleaning part of this product did nothing on the dirt by the fuel door/ trunk release until I vigorously scrubbed it with a microfiber.

Now onto the steering wheel buttons. Again some smooth plastics and this stuff just doesn’t lay down smoothly.

But if you take some time, it will level out pretty well

Here is my vinyl shift boot

Here is a 50/50 with the right side done

Here is my parking brake. The product is applied evenly, but it didn’t touch what I am is assuming to be dirt as seen by the slightly white discoloration on the left side

Here is a 50/50 on my lower dash (right side done)
And my whole interior (Silk Shine is on the upper dash)

The product has a chemically Piña colada smell in my opinion and while it has only been a day, the scent lingers and I personally don’t care for it. Overall, I don’t think I would actually buy it. In my opinion, no cleaner/ conditioner actually works well. They have to either compromise on the cleaning side, the conditioning side, or both. My other experience with a product like this is Adam’s Total Interior Detailer which cleans better than this, but streaks a lot worse. This product is just a very mild cleaner and conditioner that takes too much effort to even out in my opinion. Also, because it is on the thicker side, I found I needed to use more product than I would have liked as it doesn’t like to spread very far.

I’d rather prefer to clean with a dedicated cleaner and then use a dedicated dressing like Chemical Guys Silk Shine which is just spray and then one wipe later you have no streaks at all. Also, different vehicles use different materials and therefore your results may differ from mine.

I have not used Megs 40. Personally, I would not buy the product, but there's also a lot of other people out there that have reviews to post.
