About 1 month ago, I applied the black ProtoWax to my neighbor's Volvo S60. Please see the full review here. Briefly, the car was originally a wreck, and I did a single stage correction with HD Polish to get out a significant number of the swirls, water spots and etchings. It really needed a compound and polish, but the point of the review was the Protowax, not a show and shine.
This is a 1 month followup on the wax.
My neighbor is emphatic that she hasn't washed the car at all. It's been in the rain a few times. There was bird poop on the hood (that etched it a bit). It had a good layer of dust over the entire thing.
Before any washing, I sprayed the hood with water to see what the beading would be like. You can see for yourself what it looks like and amuse yourself with the thoughts of my 3y old at the same time.

I thought that was pretty good.
I washed the car with ONR using a UWW+ presoak. Here's another video of the beading after the wash was done.

I'd say that at least at 1 month the black ProtoWax has held up nicely. I'll see if I can wash it again in another 2 months.
Here are some shots after FrankenDetailer has been applied.
