    Prototype RW V.17 Review

I was one of the ones Nick selected to review this new rinseless wash. Today's forecast and current conditions:

Test subject - 2015 GMC Sierra w/ Quicksilver Metallic Paint
using the GDW Method + Pre-Soak.

Current LSP - PBL Paint Coating V.1 with a layer of Nanoskin Shock

I have a habit of always pre-soaking my panels with the diluted rinseless I'm using for piece of mind.

    about a 1/4 ounce

    Total of 18oz 1/4 ounce rinseless + DI H20.

Instructions on the bottle of the sample stated using 1oz of rinseless to 3 gallons of water.

    mixing it with my hand..

    Towels!

    Getting to work

    Beads!

    Clean me!

    Clean!

    50/50 with one swipe

Well, thoughts on this product.. First Id like to say other rinseless washes I've used are ONR, Blackfire, UWW+, Adam's, DP & Meg's D114. My 2 favorite being UWW+/D114. The slickest out of the ones I've tried so IMO is Adam's.

This new prototype smells like cherry candy. Sort of reminds me of Adam's old formula car shampoo. I found it to be pretty slick - not as slick as Adams but about as slick or maybe slicker than UWW+. I experienced no streaks when wiping dry with my Guzzler and the surface when dry felt slick as well.

There's nothing negative I can say about this rinseless. It worked very well and was a pleasure to use. Would I rate it as my favorite? Hard to say when I don't know much else about this product other than how it applies. I'll reserve that judgement for later. As far as performance goes it could potentially be a favorite of mine.

I also do believe that it does leave something behind because it left a nice shine on my silver paint. You be the judge. (Don't mind the dirty wheels & running boards)

Nice review, and the truck looks great!

I do like the idea of making up a small amount to use as a waterless wash or presoak, and I must agree with you that it does leave something behind.

Agree as well. Love the idea of pre-spray, but I figured I would do mine exactly as instructed.

    Meaning "shine."

    *Update*

I work night shift so when I walked to my truck to drive home this morning I felt the surface of my truck. Call me crazy but it felt like it was a lot slicker than right after application the day prior.

This seems like a pretty good product

    Outstanding review!

You should try and clean up your wheels using the solution you mixed in the spray bottle, you might be surprised.

And yes, this new rinseless wash does contain some magic that leaves your paint glossy and slick.
