Re: Eagle One Surface Prep Mitt...Amazing
Seems like Eagle one is expanding into more advanced stuff. Eagle one was really just tire and wheel cleaner which is great imo, and then recently added alot more to its lineup. I really would like to see some disputable stuff from them, maybe even an iron dwelling product

Since I'm too lazy to Google this on my phone, how much did it run?
How contaminated was the surface you tested? What grade of clay would have produced the same results?

20 bucks with online coupon code, 24 I think without it. My paint was pretty bad, it felt very rough and there was noticeable contamination (white spray paint over spray on the windows). Don't know what grade of clay it equates too sorry.

Hard to tell in the few that I have done with it. Most all were in pretty bad shape with a good bit of haze already present. First one was dark green Forester with flake. I used it parallel to the bumper to on the hood and checked to see if I could find any marring or scratches and could not notice any.
Seems kind of mild to me, but I only have Meg's OTC clay to compare it to. I would think they would have tried to make it mild for the unknowing heavy fisted average Joes out there.
I keep mine in the original package once it is dry.

Re: Eagle One Surface Prep Mitt...Amazing
I bought this about 1.5 months ago and finally had a chance to test it out on my daughter's Elantra. It worked extremely well, no micro-marring from what I can tell but I didn't put the brinkman on it. I felt the mitt doing its job, which was awesome, and while I rinsed it out a few times I didn't notice the pad breaking down. The time savings was tremendous.
Awesome product for under $20.

The rumor on the street is nanoskin makes the Eagle One mitt as well. I read that someone spoke to nanoskin at a marketing event and they were talking about how expensive it was and the nanoskin guy replied saying they are going to be making the product for other brands at a cheaper price, but could not say who it would be for. I did read that the Eagle One's skin layer was thinner though, but I don't know how that affects performance/durability.

With products like this, Nanoskin, OptiEraser, and all similar products, why anyone would use clay again is beyond me!

SM Arnold I believe owns the patent. So they manufacture it for multiple different companies to their specifications and price points.
