I find UQW/D156 has a better "shine"/gloss effect, is much slicker, and a dream to apply (the consistency is somewhat watery and spreads super easy).
BSD is more viscous/thicker in consistency, leaves a "coated" feeling to paint, lasts longer (I've had it last 2 months by itself on my 24/7-outside vehicle), sheds dirt better than UQW, and the water behavior it encourages is unlike anything else.

I think that's a good choice to stick with a topper that the manufacturer of the coating offers to help maintain it. Reload should be a great complement to CQUK and you're guaranteed from CarPro to have it work nicely as a pair.

I'll have to set up some tests to see how UQW behaves on top of BSD, that's not something I've done yet. BSD seems to be much different chemically compared to anything else I've used, so it's hard to say how well it works with other products. If I was keeping a maintenance schedule, I would probably stick with using BSD for maintenance because you'll get a lot of uses out of the 750ml bottle, and for me it's the sort of product that I find myself wanting to use often. However, I won't be keeping BSD as a base product. Polymer Net Shield is the recommended base that Sonax offers, so these two should give the best performance from each other when used together, and I definitely have plans to test them both out.
As far as the difference in shine or gloss levels, I applied both UQW and BSD earlier today on their opposite sides and I could not personally tell the difference between them on the blue test car after pulling it out into the sun. They both look amazing on the paint.

I tried topping PNS with UQW and it streaked (not horribly, but it was noticeable). I tried two different times and it just wouldn't clear out. I don't think they play well together, for some reason.
Z6 works well, though (looks good, too). However, it does reduce PNS's/BSD's beading characteristics a bit (at least for a little while until it wears off). Reload also works well, and the super-beading remains intact.

I was able to borrow it from a friend and try it out once about a year ago, I haven't done any long-term or comparison testing with it, but it worked great. Work a few sections of the car at a time, and blast it off with a pressure washer and the beading was immediate and strong. I plan to eventually pick some up for myself and compare it to Reload, but I think you'll like it.

Thanks for another great review!
How do think it would work as a drying aid?
Is more of a WOWA or a WOWO?

It works great as a drying aid, but on the first application you will definitely get stronger beading results if you spray it on a dry panel and work it in with a microfiber. For application, I like to spray it on the paint and spread it on with a microfiber, and then flip the microfiber over for that final pass. The difference with this product and some other spray products, is I'm not seeing any oily residue that can slightly distort the light that requires a little more effort for that final wipedown to get them out.
