Meguiars Dub Wheel Cleaner
Found it on sale for $5.00 a bottle.
Not a very harsh scent. Of course has the cool color changing effect when it interacts with iron particles.
Works really, really well. On maintained wheels it is a spray on, pressure wash off type of deal.
Tried it on my neighbors 2000 Mercedes with 172K miles and hasn't been washed in 6 years of daily driving. Worked pretty well on some serious euro brake dust
10/10. Cost is great, strong cleaning, easy to use and entertaining

It's does a good job at cleaning wheels. Nice job on getting that wheel clean and removing all that built up brake dust.

Thanks for the quick review!
That's a great before/after shot. I can't believe the DUB wheel cleaner was able to cut through that much brake dust. It just shows how well it works.
How many applications did it take you to get it clean like that?

Nice! Thanks for the review!
On a side note, has anyone done a head to head comparison with Iron x and Megs?

Advanced Auto. It's been posted in the DUB wheel cleaner review thread.

I have compared the two. One is a when cleaner and one isn't. I wouldn't ever use IronX to clean my wheels alone. I would use if I were coating my wheels, however. I've used DUB in paint, and IronX is much better (but DUB isn't too bad).
I don't see why people want this comparison. Yes both are iron dissolvers, but one is a wheel cleaner and one isn't. I'm more interested in this versus Sonax Full Effect. I personally think DUB is much better than SFE and I've used both extensively (Use SFE at work and DUB at home).

Here is Michael Stoops reply:
"Well, we don't specifically market it that way, and I'll have to double check with our R&D guys, but odds are it's totally safe for use that way, just as IronX and TriX are. It is a pH neutral product safe to use on all wheel surfaces, including bare, high polished aluminum. A catalyzed factory clear coat is pretty tough stuff so this should be OK.
But keep in mind, that's a SHOULD BE OK and not a green light to use it that way. Let's see what our R&D guys say first".

1 Application, dwelled for only about 15 seconds before agitating and rinsing.

WOW!!! That's amazing especially when you consider how much brake dust the wheels have and how long it has been sitting like that.
