    DP Turbo Dryer Review

A little review about the DP Turbo Dryer........

First thing you notice it it's kind of heavy. To me that means STRONG
It is a bit cumbersome (could use a shoulder strap).
As you can see, I used the flat nozzle to start with. Turn it on and you feel the nozzle push back in your hand. IT HAS STRENGTH !!!

    The subject.........

After a quick walk around with the dryer on the car, I figured out that with this nozzle on it, it was no better than a strong leaf blower with a filter. Time to change nozzles to the smaller round nozzle.
NOW THIS THING IS GREAT !!!!!!! It does cracks, crevices, mirrors like wow.
Since I back the car into the garage, the drains are tilted in the wrong direction to drain the water. So the real test is the internal gutters of the car. Of course since it was Sunday which means another car show. And since I'm old and forgetful........ I forgot to put my chair in the back before I started washing. This is where I always have problems since lifting the hatch ends up dripping tons of water on the car.
Open the hatch and this is what I see

NO DRIPS ON THE CAR !!!!
As I said, it's a bit cumbersome, but it did the job once I figured out to just to use the round nozzle.
    It's a winner !!!

Nice review Ron. Any chance you can get someone to video you using this as well?

Have you had a chance to use the MasterBlaster? I am wondering how this compares to the MB. For me the MB is a little bit of a pain to drag out and setup. but once I do it is so nice.

IMHO - this is easier to use. Maybe not as efficient, but easier

Great review.... glad you like it...

I picked this up and played with it at DF. I own a MB, a SideKick, and had an AFB.

First thing I noticed about this thing is it was bigger in person than I expected. Not too big though. Secondly, it seemed to have enough power to get the job done.

The MB is just big, heavy, and needs to really be hung up somewhere to be stored. This was a bit more user friendly, although I do agree if you added a shoulder strap it would be a great mod.

Then there is price. The MB costs a lot. I think I paid like $350 for mine. IIR, this thing is less than 1/2 the price.

1/2 the price; but 75% the performance.

    It's a winner.

    Re: DP Turbo Dryer Review

I used mine for the first time on Saturday. Doesn't seem heavy to me. Easy to maneuver while in hand. I found it PERFECT for blowing out cracks and crevices. I will not use it to dry every drop of water on the car. It's not as powerful as the master blaster, but much easier to use and is great for my intentions with it. I'm going to sell the MB.

I got mine a couple days ago. I haven't had a chance to use it on my car yet (might today though!) but it is far more powerful than my Sidekick.

I agree it is bigger than I'd thought it would be, but I didn't find it to be heavy.

Maybe "heavy" isn't the right word, but deff heavier than I expected... Not that it's a bad thing, since imho the weight means it has a heavier duty motor

    I love mine as well.

I also have dogs. This is a great drying tool after a dog bath. Easy to justify the cost (which is low) when it has 2 great purposes.
