Protect Vinyl (synthetic Leather) seats
Hello Everyone,
I have joined a few weeks and I am new at this. I would greatly appreciate if you could tell me what brand is the best for vinyl seats (Synthetic Leather MB-TEX). Price does not matter, just want a good product.
Thank you in advance!

Optimum Leather Protectant is designed to be used on leather and vinyl. My 8 year old Passat interior has been protected with it since day one and it still looks like new. Very easy to use and it leaves a nice matte finish.
Optimum Protectant Plus offers complete protection for interior leather, vinyl, plastic & rubber dressing. vinyl and rubber dressing, vinyl

I'm using 303 Aerospace Protectant and am very happy.

303 is good but my personal fave is 5:1 CarPro PERL. 3 years of applying to our Pilot and the "pleather" seats are actually still supple. Also provides just the right amount of slide to get in and out without going too crazy.

I much prefer the interior sealants (not dressings). I use Wolfgang's sealant.
What needs to be said about sealants is that they generally last a lot longer than a dressing.

Ultima Interior Guard Plus & Wolfgang Cockpit Trim Sealant seem to get a lot of good press. Plus you can use them to protect the plastic as well.

First of all I thank you all for your input as it is very beneficial.
Expdetailing as you mentioned that you prefer the wolfgang sealant. I have one other question. What is the difference between interior sealant and interior protectant?
Once again I thank you all for your input.
Happy Detailing!!!

My opinion is that a "protectant" could also be a dressing, but not a true sealant. In other words, dressings are sometimes called a protectant, which they are for a shorter period of time. The Wolfgang interior sealant that I use, IMO, is superior to any high-end dressing that I have used, and I've used a lot. Wolfgang sealant comes in smaller sizes, as well as larger sizes, however one might think that a smaller bottle would get used-up in no-time. This is not the case; I believe, a smaller bottle of sealant is equal to two full-size bottles of any "dressing" or "protectant."
Maybe someone can chime in if you know of a protectant that could be considered a sealant.
One last thing, I will NEVER buy another dressing as long as there is a sealant being sold. Sealants will be the death of dressings if only enough people knew, IMO.

Expdetailing,
Thank you for your quick response. I have one other question in reference to a vinyl rubber leather cleaner. Is it okay to use the wolfgang leather cleaner? If not, what do you recommend.
One other question what cleaner do you use on plastic?
In reference to protecting plastic I am assuming the wolfgang interior sealant will do the job.
Thjanks again,
Chris
