Pressure washers?
Any ideas on a solid pressure washer? And if so gas or electric? I've been eyeing a couple, just wanted to check in with you guys to get an honest review/ ideas.

Re: Pressure washers?
If you don't mind the noise, gas power all the way. I have had a honda powered washer for 15 years and still runs good as new. Plus will do everything form car to concrete cleaning.
The electric is power on command (only runs when trigger pulled) and a lot quieter, but less power.
Detailing is a way of life, not a hobby!

I run either a gas 2500 psi Karcher / Honda or a 1800 psi Electric unit -http://www.pressurewashersdirect.com/Campbell-Hausfeld-PW1825-Pressure-Washer/p6175.html
depends on my location and what I'm doing with it. Never had an issue with either one.

Re: Pressure washers?
I just picked up a Greenworks 1700 (exclusive to Lowe's) based off of a review from Monica, (Detailkitty) and I love it. The hose from the pump to the gun is soft and braided, not that annoying plastic hose. It's very quiet and the handle has the same brass fittings as my 3000 psi Honda PW. I can use my foam cannon on both, which is another plus. I love my Honda, but when it's early in the morning, I'm pulling out the Greenworks. I have had electric Karcher units in the past, and this Greenworks is a Much better unit!

^ also have the same one. picked it up on CL and it was virtually new (the seller had a few and this one was un-used compared to the others), i paid $110 which was about half price of it brand new. so far so good...

I have no problems with my ar383. I couldn't imagine spending more time gassing up, tuning up, etc. A gas powered unit just to clean cars and to have it be a ton louder as well. Even if I was using it everyday multiple times I would stick electric, granted I would probably dive in eventually and pick up a Kranzle.
It's all in the details

I have/love Kranzle 1120 (electric), which was replaced by K1122TST.

I have a Cleanforce 1800psi from Home Depot. I like it a lot.. got the 2 yr replacement warranty for something like $40.
