No. I am happy with the results.

I haven't read a bad review as far as the looks go and whenever Mother Nature decides to bring us spring I'll be adding a 3rd coat as I wanna apply it when the weather is much warmer. I can't stress the superior slickness of this product, the rinseless wash is even easier once the DGNCC is applied.

I really hope there's coating noobs out there that aren't intimidated by the process, its really easy but keep in mind the golden rule...prep work is key and keep in mind, once it looks good, COAT IT!

I believe I only mentioned once, that the beading could be tighter.

It is the sheeting ability that I was disappointed in.

But for the overall results, I am pleased.

Those that have put this on, are you following up right after flashing with a light MF cloth wipe ? I've seen this done with oc pro and pbl surface coating.

I have only used a light wipe if there's been high spots but that's usually the next day when I pull the car out and into natrual sunlight though and I've needed a single squirt of QD to get it all smoothed out, no problems after that but IMO this was due to temps more than over use the more I think about it.

So far so good this morning I polished and sealed the hood on my daily driver. No time to finish the car today. I will let you know how it comes out. It is looking like rain so I am not going to do the complete car until I have a nice day

    c2a:

Q1: did you use SQC prep polish just prior to the coating?

Q2: what temperature was it when you coated the hood?

Can you please post your sheeting/beading experiences also?

I followed the directions I used the SQ cleaner after the polishing. The temp was mid 50’s As far as water sheeting I have no idea it has only been about two hours since I coated the hood. I will find out when it rains. So far no rain it is on the way shortly.

The picture was taken shortly after coating the hood

I did my 1st coat when it was 56 outside but did it in our underground garage, so I'm afraid the temps were a bit less. The 2nd coat was applied in the same place but it was about 10 degrees warmer, still not really warm enough IMO for the best way to lay it down. This is why the 3rd coat is going onto the car when its 80, whenever that happens!
