Btw I saw nothing but a clear and clean finish afterwards too.

Awesome!! Thanks for the feedback. I understand now.
I just ordered this kit a few days ago from the Duragloss site. When I do get around to using it, I'll post any thoughts and observations here in this thread.

Did you spritz the towel with the Enviroshield coating, in a "like removes like" type of fashion, or did you spritz the towel with a QD or water etc.?

Sold! I will be ordering some when I feel confident enough that Spring has actually arrived

Will subsequent washings after the first coat interfere with adding a second coat days later? Thanks for the review/testing!!

IMO I can't see maintenance washes hurting the applicaion of the 2nd coat. I'll go a step further to say that using a Speedy prep towel or clay bar shouldn't either. I say this because I see myself adding a 3rd coat right before winter comes a knocking again and will do a Speedy prep towel wipe before that 3rd coat gets laid on.

From the other thread,
"Because I applied it in a cool, underground garage I did have a couple spots where I had to buff it out but I'm 100% sure it was a combo of the temps and maybe using a tad too much product, think learning curve here. The nice thing is that I was able to spritz a little of my "FrankenDetailer" onto a plush gray Cobra mf towel and a couple wipes and it all evened out, no problem."
I think he is referring to a mix of QDs he made.

I'm very sorry about that Dave, yes I did spritz the mf towel with some of my homemade QD to wipe away the high spots and yes, they were dry and yes they did go away without a problem.
Thanks to you too Killa for helping out here as well
I'm really looking forward to other reviews and pics and tricks from other members. I really can't wait to apply the 2nd coat, come on Mother Nature!
On a sidenote, you could just go ahead and do a rinseless or regular wash the next day to ensure everything is evened out afterwards, just a thought. I have an email out to Bill from DG about actual cure time but he did tell me the 2nd coat could go on 24 hrs later, so that might end up being the answer.

It's all good man.. Thanks for all you do here to spread the good knowledge.
I just want to be in the know as much as possible before getting started with the Enviroshield product. Sounds similar to an Opti-Coat application and follow up, though I find it takes just a little more than a QD to take care of high spots with OC2.0 or the Pro version.
This DG offering sounds like a real winner just like their other products.
