Ceramic clear benz
Just picked up a 2010 c300 Mercedes Benz . It has the ceramic clear coat. I would like to know if any of you used this and your thoughts on it. http://www.autogeek.net/menzerna-por...w-car-kit.html

Thanks
Menzerna products work great on Ceramiclear paints.
Best thing to do is to use the least aggressive product to get the job done for the reasons shared in this article.

Re: Ceramic clear benz
I read your thread that you linked here.
It would scare even the most experienced detailer.
Thanks Mike for that artical.
Reason I'm so thankful soon as I recovery from my health issues I'll be doing the e550 which is a 2010 steel blue in color.
The car is in pretty bad shape , after I inspected it I thought my first test area would be to go with the WG Über Compound now I'm not sure.
One thing is certain , an ultra fine polish won't correct this car.

I have the WG twins. Is that about the same as what I put in the link?

Ceramiclear Paints - Be Careful
One of the most valuable topics I've seen recently. I'm to do some Mercedes detailing and although being careful, I was not aware enough of those whole issue.
That's good being part of this community and be alerted for risks like this.
Just like HateSwirls, my idea was to compound at first to get the most from it... now I'm about to go PF2500 or SF4000, with a polishing pad at maximum. I mean, that should be the least aggressive approach to what I've evaluated, and now with all this info I'm pretty sure Mercedes will call me Papa!
Fear is one of the feelings responsible for humanity prosperity. Excessive is not good, but it's too much better to be aware and know (what possible about) your risks.
Thanks for sharing.
Kind Regards.

Re: Ceramic clear benz
Although Ive never used it, I asked a similar question about Ceramic Clear in another group today and Corey from CarPro suggested Scholl Concepts 17+ ... Check it out.

Yes.
And with the Wolfgang Twins you can tackle just about any car you work on including the Ceramiclear finish on your Benz.
Just have the right pads and use good technique.

Another quick tip for searching on Google that has been a life saver to me many times is to type in your search text and then type site:websitenamehere.com if you're trying to look on a certain website. It functions better than search functions within most websites. Including this one.
For example you can type Mike Phillips test spot site:autogeekonline.net and every page on this site related to those keywords will pop up including the one Mike mentioned above.
