Re: My experience with CG Wash and Gloss - a different kind of review

I got a gallon of this for Christmas from my wife with a foam gun. It is indeed pretty strong when mixed at higher dilutions and I agree that it will strip your wax or sealant. I have used it as a maintenance wash on my wife's older Camry and it seems to do well. I usually use it in the foam gun first for a sudsy pre-soak, then go back with it in the bucket at a much lower concentration. This past weekend, I used it to clean my mom's four runner. I have yet to correct the pain on the four runner, and it is in dull shape, so I was not hurting anything by using the Wash and Gloss on it.
I also use it a lot in my wheel bucket.
I guess with a gallon of it, I need to use it for something.
If you want lubricity and loads of suds, try CG Extreme Body Wash and Wax out of a foam cannon attached to a pressure washer. The suds are as thick as shaving cream!

Thanks for the inout. But suds is not the same as lubricity. You can have tons of suds and no lubricity or you can even have great lubricity with very little sud. Having tons of suds does not ensure having the same results in terms of lubricity.

I love this soap. I use it as a stripping agent or to wash a really dirty vehicle that will get paint/sealant after. CG Mr. Pink is my go to wash for maintenance washes during winter as it has great lubricity. I then use CG Glossworkz for summer.
