Both are still looking good and going strong after at least one touchless wash and going through two snow storms and now rain.
Its interesting how driving in a light rain you can actually have a dry car due to the water beads flying off the surface.
The beading is ofcoarse going to look different on a car that's sitting and one that's been driven in the rain for sure but your right, with these two products the car will tend to dry pretty easily. Maybe you can take some pics of the car when its clean and sitting in the rain to see how it looks/

The beading looked almost the same except for the fact the beads were larger. The temps were below freezing when I took these pics and both were at home at the same time so I took advantage of the opportunity to show that both products were still on station and performing well.

Yeah, after doing a rinseless wash applying some AG will keep the car looking great, even if you do this once a month!

I use both. Klasse seems to last longer to me IMO. 845 looks plain awesome. Over time Klasse slickness will out do the 845.
If your looking for something even better, Wolfs Hardbody! Cheap, easy to apply by hand. Slickness & beading for almost a year. And resists bird poo better than any wax or sealant ive tried.

Re: Head-to-Head cage match - Klasse SG vs. Collinite 845
Thanks for asking.
Due to my work hours and the short winter days, I haven't had enough day light to take any good pictures.
I can tell you that after a torrential rain we had last Friday, the beading on both cars looks exactly same as it appeared in the pictures in December. The Klasse car has sat outside through that massive winter storm that hit the mid-west last week and the Collinite car was on the roads during that time and has gone through it's third touchless wash.
From what I can observe, both products are still going strong.

Touchless washes get a bad rep here but in my experience with them I haven't had an issue with them, plus they keep the car clean underneather, so a good touch-free every couple weeks should be a part of vehicle maintenance during the winter where it snows and the roads are salted, it gets soap, water and air drying into areas you can't possibly get to.
This might end up a draw!

I have the Klasse twins with KAIO and an additional 2 coats of SG on my wife's car and since they are acrylic in nature I use Chemical Guys Extreme Synthetic Acrylic Detailer spray as a touch up after each wash. So far it's holding up nicely. You just don't see acrylics only used very often so I thought I'd give it a go. I could see putting 845 over it and using DG Aquawax too. I can't say enough about AW. I love that product.
On my driver i have Optimum Poli-Seal which I follow up with Optimum Spray Wax for touch ups. It's been 2 years since I put the Poli-Seal on with the Spray Wax it's like I did it yesterday.
My sister-in-law has DP Coating, brother-in-law has Pinnacle diamond coating. My father has WGDGS 3.0 They're all holding up great. I've come to the conclusion that you just need to put something on them and touch them up with something compatible which is usually UltimaWWplus because it's cheap and works great. I'd like to try Garry Deans Ultimate Detailer but need to use up gallons upon gallons of product first. I got carried away during the sales. Enjoyed this thread tremendously. Nice job Nate!

I only have two complaints with touchless washes
1. The detergents are harsh and shorten the lifespan of any protectant on the car
2. They never get the car as clean as I like.
However, I like them/put up with them for the very reasons you give. In the winter my choices in keeping the car clean are either a touchless or frostbite in a coin op self-serve bay. The touchless doesn't seem so bad in the end!
