Re: Up Close & Personal: Bouncer's Capture the Rapture
I just got this wax and have been meaning to try it out so I really appreciate you providing some application guidelines.
But lately I have been wondering how do you know if you are supposed to let a wax dry to a haze or a wipe on wipe off application. I know you can go online and look for instructions on specific products but I was hoping there were ways to determine the best application with doing so.
Thanks for the review.

CTR doesn't really haze, it just gets sticky. Its best to do a panel, then remove it.

Re: Up Close & Personal: Bouncer's Capture the Rapture
Thanks for your response. But I guess I should have been a little bit more specific with my question. The question how do you know if you are supposed to let a wax dry to a haze or wipe on wipe off application was for waxes in general.

You have to go by the manufacturers instructions. However, if you apply most LSPs correctly (very thin), they often will haze quite quickly - almost making it a moot point.

Re: Up Close & Personal: Bouncer's Capture the Rapture
Just used my CTR about a month ago for the first time, when started the wash (2 pm) temp was in high 80s low 90s by the time got to Waxing (8 pm) it had dropped by 10-15 degrees, so in that environment I did 3 sections ( divided each door, fender, trunk in two sections and the hood in four) and after finishing the 3rd section wiped off the first section then onto waxing the fourth and afterwards wiping the second and so on. I noticed the wax buffed off fine except a couple of times when it was a bit grabby/sticky so I knew I had let it sit for a bit too long.
With Capture the Rapture, as another user told me, you need to buff it again after a few hours as the oils need time to set.
Hope that helps

With the addition of this, I can honestly say I have more waxes than Emelda Marcos had shoes

**UPDATE**
I washed the car over the weekend - Bouncer's Capture The Rapture is still holding up well. Beading on horizontal panels has diminished slightly, but it's still going strong on vertical panels.
