Review: Wolf’s Chemicals “Black Out” Tire & Trim

If you have a 2010 Ford mustang you know there is a lot of Plastic trim on it. If you do not apply some kind of protectant or conditioner on the pieces they will fade and look grey. The other day I wanted to try out Wolf’s Chemicals “Black Out” Tire & Trim on trim that was badly faded. Before applying a Protectant onto the trim you want to wipe it down with a product like Pinnacle All Purpose Cleaner. By wiping the trim down with Pinnacle All Purpose Cleaner it will remove any oils, and waxes that are on the trim to help the product bond to the trim. When using Pinnacle All Purpose Cleaner it is safe to get on the paint. If it does get on the paint make sure you wax that area since it will strip it off any wax.

After the trim is clean I applied Wolf’s Chemicals “Black Out” Tire & Trim my first thought was the product was very thick and a little bit went a long way. When applying Wolf’s Chemicals “Black Out” Tire & Trim I used a Microfiber pad to make sure the product would get into the pores of the trim. After applying Wolf’s Chemicals “Black Out” Tire & Trim to the trim I was amazed at the results it brought the trim back to life with little effort. After the product fully dried I noticed it did not streak unlike some other products. The worst part on the mustang was the back bumper it was really rough but after applying Wolf’s Chemicals “Black Out” Tire & Trim it was a big improvement.

My final thoughts on Wolf’s Chemicals “Black Out” Tire & Trim is that it is great product for trim that has been neglected and you want to make it look new. One of the best features on this product is that it will not run or streak if it gets wet. Since Wolf’s Chemicals “Black Out” Tire & Trim is water based it will attract less dust.
