    Review: Meguiar's Quick Interior Detailer

There has been some chat regarding interior products lately on here. I usually use UIG+ about every 4 months or so. Prior to that, I clean everything with APC, then wipe-down with DI water. Application of UIG+ takes a bit of time, as its kind of like a WOWA sealant, and I pretty much apply it to everything. I find over application can leave streaking and leave the surface uneven. So, when I apply it, it takes a while to apply it evenly.

I was looking for something light and easy to use in between applications of UIG+. Something that cleaned lightly, mainly dust, and left a hint of protection behind. I was using OptiClean and it does well at this job. But, I ran out of OptiClean.

I picked up Meg's Quick Interior Detailer locally, hoping it wasn't going to leave a greasy surface. The product says it leaves some protection and restores a new surface. I found it did just that. This product is anything but greasy, it actually evaporates pretty quickly. You'd be hard pressed to tell there was any "protection" on the surface, it leaves the surface looking new - just as described.

The sprayer is not too good, as it "misses a pump" every so often. This sprayer has no "stream" setting. Also, the scent of the product is of light alcohol and polymers. No artificial scent, but the smell is light and quickly gone. Overall, a great product to wipe down your interior with.

Here are the surfaces cleaned with the product:

I use this weekly on my ride. Also, every detail I do sees this product. I may use something with more bite first and then go over the area a second time with QID to leave that like new look. Cheap and effective!

I use Meg's QID and no complaints as well.
If I had to pick... I thought it had a hint of smell of vinegar which I am not too fond of.

I have a gallon of it and use it all the time. If there are any heavily soiled spots then it APC prior to QID but it does have some good cleaning abilities!

Weird about the smell. I have actually grown to like it. Use it frequently on our 2 cars.
