AIO Review BF TPS vs. PB PWS

This is my first review here, so be gentle!

I'm constantly seeing AIO questions, so I thought I'd give my best review of the two I use currently. This is not going to be an over-the-top review, just quick and to the point. Sorry the pics aren't the best, my DSLR is with the neighbor, she just had to go into labor...lol!

All testing was done with GG6 with 5" white LC.
Vehicle: 2002 Honda Odyssey Dark Green

First up Blackfire Total Polish and Seal.

    Ease of use: 4/5
    Depth: 4/5
    Correction: 2/5

    Durability: ~2 months in midwest

Next up is Poorboys Polish with Sealant.

    Ease of Use 5/5
    Depth: 3/5
    Correction: 3/5

Durability: ~ 3 months in midwest

    Final Review:
I have a place both products in my arsenal.
    Light Colors - PB PwS
Dark Colors - Paint in good condition BF TPS
Dark Colors - Paint needs more correction PB PwS

BF TPS has less correction than PB PwS, but not by much. Since the color depth is less noticeable on light colors I always go to PwS. Darker colors look good with TPS due to better depth, but if I need more correction, then PwS it is. If your gonna top either of these, than color depth would probably be a non-issue.

Durability is about the same, with a slight edge to PB PwS. PB also seems slightly easier to work and smells great!

I had 4 friends come over and asked which side looked better and gave them my light, 3 of them said they looked the same, and 1 said the TPS side looked better.

Price on both products are about equal, so in the end, you'll be happy with either product.

    Thanks for reading!

Thanks for the review. What is the difference you see in application? I have used BF TPnS so curious how PwS would differ.

I find the PwS goes on smoother with less product than TPS, and finishes slightly easier. Both products, when worked correctly, leave virtually nothing behind to buff off. They're close in this category for me, so it could just be me.

Thanx for the review, just picked up BF TPS and haven't had a chance to use it. 2 months is kinda of weak so I guess it would need to be topped with some DG105 or 845.

I too like both and enjoy both, however it's PwS for me. I've used PwS with an orange pad and done some amazing stuff with it.

I only use TPnS if I am doing a quickly and topping with crystal seal.
    Back to the full-time grind.

I thought about including an orange pad comparison, but on the vehicle I was working with, there wasn't much more an orange pad could do. I've heard PwS and orange can work very well, but I've never tested it much.

someone on here did a 50/50 once with pws and orange pad, it was awesome so it made me try it, i was surprised what just really the pad and product could do.

I own both and to be honest I have not been impressed with them. Can you give me info on your methods to achieve those results. My TPS has been demoted to door jamb and under hood AIO lol
