Meguiar's Ultimate Compound
Not a huge review, but I wanted to see what it could do working by hand. I used an orange foam hand applicator which has a decent cut to it.
Here is the before. The whole car is like this because it has been through many auto car washes.
Now, after 3 passes of Ultimate Compound, I'd say it's a pretty decent improvement. Obviously no where near perfect or the level that a machine could achieve, but I'd still say impressive.

Thats a bit harsh.
Everyone started out hand compounding and polishing.

Of course you can't correct anywhere near perfect by hand and I know that. However, there is definitely improvement. That is all I was trying to show.

Re: Meguiar's Ultimate Compound
not everyone has the ability to have access to a machine(like myself) so working by hand is the only option. I agree Ultimate Compound is a great product, and on metallic paint you can tell the correction level even further as youre able to see the flakes really pop. This product can definitely turn you car around with about 80% correction, be assured when the sun hits the car you wont see swirls, just a nice looking crisp car lol. For softer paints I would recommend following up though with a light polish like Optimum Poli seal or Swirlx or Ultimate Polish to refine any trails etc left behind.

There are many of us out there that don't have all the polishing tools especially the smaller ones, so we have to do some polishing by hand. Thanks, OP for the review. I also use UC for small areas and some spot corrections at times when not the whole vehicle needs polished.
