Uber is the best I have tried to date. I am going to be trying the blackfire one soon. But that being said once I find some thing that works well, its hard for me to switch. I hear great things about Sonax and P21, but cant give my person opinion.
Über works great but it's too expensive for me for my weekly washes. If I had the money I'd buy gallons of it and call it a day. Diablo 1:6 does a good job for my weekly wash and really goes a long way.
Because it works as well as Sonax, as Safe as Sonax since it's a non-acide wheel cleaner. It can be diluted 3:1 or 4:1 and is 18, yes, 18 times cheaper even with shipping than Sonax.
I was sick of buying expensive wheel cleaner that is safe for ALL wheels.
Brown Royal costs around $30 for 4 to 5 gallons of wheel cleaner when diluted.
For weekly washes/well maintained wheels, CG diablo is not bad. BUT i will bring up auto finesse imperial wheel cleaner; around the same price as diablo going for 1L concentrate for $20 at DD, but it can be diluted 1:10 for lightly soiled stuff. It cleans just as well too so that's pretty damn good.
Any heavier soiling and I'll reach for my sonax or wolfgang uber or griots heavy duty (though I have all 3, griots is the only one I have yet to open since winter has not been kind so far). Uber works just as well, if not better than sonax, simply because it foams/clings better than sonax, so you don't need to constantly reapply which saves product
Oh, question guys, so why are acidic wheel cleaners bad but caustic wheel cleaners (basic) are fine? Like I see so many things being advertised as non-acidic; only a handful of them are actually pH neutral like sonax, but some others are quite basic; so why is that okay?
