When I come back ill defenitely check out Pinnacle Waterless, as I use alot of Megs UW&WA often, and its not cost effective.
I agree with you on Meg's UW&WA price point. Its a great product just not economical to use all the time. Thats why I picked up the Pinnacle wash.

Never heard of using a dryer sheet before.
I noticed that when I saturated the front bumper for a pre soak and then used these to get the bugs off it pretty much killed a month old single layer of Fuzion. But in Fuzion's defense the bumper cover was soaking in a pretty strong mixture of RFEW and then wiped with the bug sponges.

Nice write up.
I highly recomend these pad on a road trip.
Easy to use.
If your doing it at home, I recomend washing your car first and then use these for the bugs that remain.

Great review.
Thanks for taking the time to write it and post your results.
I purchased these about a month ago from a local store and have to say I have been pretty impressed myself.
I only wish they sold these in a larger quantity.
Plan on taking a couple packs with me in my suitcase now for road trips .. along with a spray bottle of UWW+

Hey glad you made it.
Thats another idea to try out. Wash then use the sponges.

No problem. I wanted to do the write up as I havent seen one done yet.
These sponges compliment an over the road detail kit perfectly.

Mine is extremely hard unless I soak it in some fairly hot water for a while. Is that normal?

Yes! that is normal
I have this bug sponge as well.
Perfect for heavy bug splatter and for clients car.
I let it soak in a my rinse bucket on the way to jobs.. ( my rinse water is always warm or hot during winter)
Pretty soft by the time I arrive.. or if using at home I soak it under running hot water for 3 - 4 minutes
I prefer the Megs bug sponges for on the go kit! Especially for FL travel
I recommend everyone pick some of these up

On my way home to SC from Fort Lauderdale, pulled into a rest stop in Daytonna and used a sponge along with some Lucas Slick Spray to clear the dead critters from the hamster-mobile. Product works well for roadside touch-ups
