I believe your quick success using the Meguiar's DA Power System is due to it's rotary design vs the dual action counterpart

A rotary corrects much quicker that any DA I'm aware of and it appears that Meguiar's has hit another home run....thanks to your review!!

I think he's talking about the tool being forced rotation so it acts like a rotary? But it's more like the 3401.

My understanding was that the new Meguiar's adapter was for an electric drill however maintaining a circular rotation similar to a rotary machine.....Not True!

Further reading and understanding tells me this unit attaches to an electric drill and operates as a dual action polisher......

Thank you so much, rwisejr!! This definitely bridges the gap between the DA and working by hand. It should give everyone especially people new to detailing a chance to see what detailing with tools is all about at a fraction of the price.

It is direct drive but also has an oscillating motion. It moves exactly or very close to the Flex 3401. That's another benefit of this tool
