Which bang for the buck shampoo?
I’ve been looking through the product review posts for reviews on shampoos looking for the bang for the buck soap. I’ve been using Griot’s Garage Car wash and I don't have any issue with it, I'm experimenting. I washed the cars yesterday with some Dodo Juice Born To Be Mild I just received. Because it was 37 degrees out I didn’t linger. The cars were very dirty due to recent inclement weather and they looked good when I finished. I can’t say if Born To Be Wild performed any better than Griot’s would have. Dodo Born To Be Wild is a bit expensive, so what’s the bang for the buck weekly shampoo?

Oh my; this stuff is mad expensive (but I love it) compared to some of the cheaper alternatives! I wish it wasn't or else I'd stock multiple gallon bottles haha!
I'm surprised no one has mentioned any CG car washes? Which, if you get from CG directly, can be literally like, $18 for a gallon bottle?
E.g. citrus wash and gloss is something between $16-18 from CG directly, and for a maintenance wash, it's diluted to only 1oz/5gallons; crazy cheap per wash! as opposed to duragloss, which is around the $20's, but requires 1oz/gallon, so cost per wash definitely goes up.
I really like Glossworkz and citrus wash and gloss and citrus daily clear; all dilute to 1oz/5 gallons so although glossworkz may be $40, it still runs cheaper than some other washes.
There's also the suggestion of ultima paint guard wash, which has a high dultion rate at 1oz/5galons as well, and supposedly cleans very very well (I just ordered it a couple days back along with a bunch of other soaps I want to try, so I'll be able to play with it once it warms up hear).
Anyways, there are lots of choices, and people will always tell you different ones they prefer, but keep in mind it all depends on the kind of wash you want as well; i.e. strong cleaning, or LSP safe that's more gentle, or a gloss enhancing soap, or one that even adds abit of wax protection ontop. This is why I'm ordering like, 15 different soaps in my next order LOL while I already have a gallon each of glossworkz, citrus wash and gloss, duragloss 901, etc., I'm still on the lookout for something that's better, so that I'll never have to wonder and second-guess myself as to whether or not I made the right purchase

It's been some time, but Costco had Meg's Gold Class Shampoo (1 gal) for like 6 bucks. Talk about bang for your buck and it cleans good.
