    Review: Blackfire Advanced Pad Cleaner

    Product: Blackfire Advanced Pad Cleaner
    Price: $14.99
Claim: To clean the hell out of some pads of course!
    Directions: Pictured below

Alright, so I picked this up as well as Wolfgang Pad Werks (review on that comes later) on my last order. I have been SICK of using Dawn & APC to wash my pads, they do an "okay" job at best. I really wanted something that worked specifically for this.

I left the pads to sit overnight to really test the strength of this product, I would advise against this normally.

4 Pads, a conditioning brush, and the product.
    (Two 5.5" / Two 3" ) (Megs Cleaner wax on 5.5" // Dimondite Glass Compound & Polish on 3")

    Directions

So, of course I went for the dirtiest pad first, this pad (and now the other) are my designated "Megs Cleaner Wax" pads. 5.5" LC Flat.

As directed, i sprayed the pad down liberally and waited 20 seconds, then started agitating with the conditioning brush.

    Now a good rinsing!

And vuala! Here is the difference!

Now to try with the smaller pads..

    After:

The results speak for themselves. This stuff works great and will most likely purchase more in the future. Thanks everyone for checking out my review, I like to be straight forward and let everyone know my experience from it, good or bad and give an unbiased opinion.

Yes, it is a very good product. It seems much better than APC

I was just about to ask what's the difference?

If something like Dawn will remove layers off the car, wouldn't it work just as well on a pad?

BLACKFIRE Advanced Pad Cleaner is formulated to break up and release caked on polish and wax residue. Dawn is formulated to clean pots and pans.

Technically you can use anything to clean your pads (or your pots and pans) but keep in mind each respective product (whether it is a pad cleaner or dish washing detergent) is formulated using key ingredients designed for its intended use.

A dedicated pad cleaner, for example, quickly breaks up and releases polish and wax residue, rinses freely and will not break down or deteriorate the pad; the last thing you want is any type of cleaning residue (ie: Dawn, Gasoline, WD-40, ETC) left in the pad because it can slowly eat away at the pad or re-activate at a future use and mix with your polish/wax/compound.

Simply put, a pad cleaner works best for cleaning pads.
