M105 M205 Punch!!
I helped my friend correct the paint on his 2003 Black SVT Cobra Mustang. I directed him to buy Megs 105 & Megs 205 to save a little change. By comparison they are relatively inexpensive and they get some good press around here. I'm sorry there are no before pics but rest assured it was in need of some work. I used a white CCS 5.5 white pad on the whole car followed by a 10% IPA wipe down. There were a few spots that didn't correct so I went back with a 4 inch orange ccs to localize them and then retouched those areas with 205. For Lsp we used WGDGPS for longevity as my friend likes to race rather than wax!
Here my friend can't believe his eyes as we look at the test spot

I've used the Pinnacle Twins and the Wolfgang Twins and now I'm thinking Meg's!!

Newb alert: Whats the purpose of the IPA wipe down? And at what stage is it done?

My understanding its used to remove remaining oils and residue after polishing. Usually helps before sealant / wax or any product that requires a oil free surface prior to application.

Thx bud. I did a search right after I asked the question. Seems like its a toss up between IPA and Mineral Spirits.
