Optimum no rinse wash and wax in cold weather

So I ordered a gallon of the stuff after reading some reviews.

now I'm in Ottawa, so 4 months a year we have crappy detailing weather, but that's not gonna stop me!

last year I used regular ONR, and it did okay, then tried the duragloss no rinse with aquawax and it did better (easier to dry without smearing) ... now for the latest contender: ONR wash and wax.

pictures are not the best since they were taken at night, and it was just below freezing! but I'm amazed at how much gloss the paint has now! this is now my go to product for winter, we got 14 inches of snow today, and I was still able to wash my car outside with this stuff with great results! (and the smell! omg!)

Just got some of this stuff myself. Im going to use it like you stated for winter months. For regular washes Im going to get the regular ONR so the wax in this new solution doesnt interfere with my sealant & wax bonding.

    Nice work!
If I didn't have a garage, with that kind of weather I would only detail indoor: appliances, showers, laptops...You are one brave man!

I don't think it will interfere with the bonding. It will, however, interfere with the looks.

Thanks for putting NRWW through the paces and sharing your results with us. I also admire your dedication to keeping a nice ride in spite of your conditions.

thanks guy, thanks Chris, ride won't stay clean for long unfortunatly, but at least no more salt on the paint...

The thing I like the most about this product is how easy to dry the car is, when it's cold you don't have much time to dry before it freezes, you wash a panel, 2 passes with a guzzler and it's perfect! no smears, no marks and a nice gloss!

thanks Chris for such a great product!

Re: Optimum no rinse wash and wax in cold weather

This may seem like an off the wall question but will the wax in ONR wash & wax bond to the paint in freezing temperatures? I was told that wax has to be applied between 50 and 90 degrees or else it wouldn't bond properly to the paint. From the pics it looks as if the ONRWW did an excellent job.
