    C4

Is Gtechniq's C4 really the bees knees? or would solutions finish + UTTG be the way to go?

I encounter different stages of trim fade amongst the vehicles i detail.

How severe of a turn around can be had with C4? Any posts/pics/reviews?

Personally, I'd do the C4 and protect it with UTTG. I've used the C4 and it's very good, not sure if it's the bee's knees, but it's easy. I posted a thread on AutopiaForums.com about it...last year?

Cool. I have not been over to Autopia for sometime, so forgive me not seeing your review.

I just know, as in paint coatings, there is a number of trim 'restorers' out there, and each has their own go to.

Just curious to see how it stacks up.

How long has the 15 ml size lasted you, Setec?

    Re: C4

C4 is awesome on good condition trim. If the trim is already faded or needs restoration I would go the solution finish route.

Here is C4 on a reasonably new car:

I don't go over there anymore either (AutopiaForums.com) since they merged TID in there. I presume I can link it here since it's the sister forum and PBMG now carries C4: Got To Try My GTechniq C4 Trim Restorer - Autopia Forums - Auto Detailing & Car Care Discussion Forum

As far as how long it lasts, I only used it that one time in the thread, I think I said in there that you seem to use nothing, but the area I did was fairly small, not like one of those vehicles that has cladding all over it.

I will be ordering the Car Pro version to try. For nasty trim, I use SF topped with UTTG with great results! Looking forward to seeing how the CP stuff compares.

Did a 50/50 on my wiper cowl (outside 24/7) with UTTG and C4..UTTG showed some wear after 6 month, C4 going strong after 22 months.

I've seen the images you posted of your SF + UTTG. Very nice look!

And Rsurfer, i'd be happy w/ 6 months before wear. Good to know C4 is holding nearly 2 years later. Is this an outdoor 24/7 vehicle?
