Re: Best LSP Survey
Blackfire Midnight Sun. Easily the best lsp for the money. Easy to use, lasts for months, and looks amazing.

Re: Best LSP Survey
845 may not be the best in any category - gloss, depth, protection, durability, slickness, sheeting, dust repellent, etc. But it looks like the pound for pound the best.

Looks are good. There are others that will look better, but for 15.00 / bottle, it is worth it.
Easy on & off. Might take a bit longer to flash ( some might call it cure ) so it can be removed. I had higher than normal humidity for the time of year, and it took ~ 45 to 60 min to flash so it could be removed ( else the smear happens ).
Durability - I would put this at the top. it wears like nails. Are there others that last as long, or longer. Sure, but do they cost 15.00 / bottle.
Did I mention cost ? 15.00 bottle, and a bottle goes a long way. This is a thin coat product. Even with 2 coats on the areas I tested ( 1st time using it this year ) I only used < 1/8" the bottle on my truck for the top of the cab & cap and the rocker panels all the way around.
Just think using the criteria at the start of the thread:
Let's assume that the paint is polished, money IS a factor and you had to live with this LSP for the rest of your life.
This is a proven product, and from my view point a well kept secrete for some reason, that is cheap. 15.00 / bottle sure I could make this last for 3, maybe 4 years keeping up the heavy LSP schedule I put on the truck now.

I'll be a bit contrary, and say that I'm not such a big fan of 845. It does last reasonably long (though not the best I've used), and is reasonably easy to use, but I'm not particularly fond of the bright, reflective look it has; and I've had some pretty bad water-spotting with it, as well. Nonetheless, for what it costs, it's certainly worth giving it a try and deciding for yourself.

Has anyone tried using the new version 3 ONR with 845? Curious as to how or if they still cause trouble together

Hence why every one likes a different wax/sealant. While some don't care for the bright, reflective look, others such as myself do. Who's right... depends on who you ask. Thank goodness there are so many different products out there to try and play with.
