Short Review: Mothers Foaming Tire & Wheel Cleaner

This product has interested me for awhile, so I thought I'd try it. I really put it to the test on some very soiled Ford Escort hubcaps. As you can see the thick, caked on brake dust around the edge of the wheel, and the tires haven't been cleaned in a long time! FYI, the discoloration on the hub caps was already there prior to using the cleaner.

I'm thoroughly impressed with this product! i LOVE how it foams!!! I used the mothers wheel brush to agitate the cleaner. It didn't take a lot of effort to remove the very caked on brake dust. It also clean the heck outta the tire! Let alone an amazing wheel cleaner, this is one of the best tire cleaners I've ever used! Give this cleaner a shot on all coated wheels, you won't regret it!! I added a gallon to my cart.

My experience ties in with yours, Mark - I love this stuff, never had a bad experience with it, and since my brakes don't dust that badly, I've never needed a stronger product.

Looks like good stuff. You would probably like A2Z too. It foams a lot.

Yep, best tire cleaner and coated wheel cleaner I've used to date.

Is there anything out there that is MUCH stronger? The brake dust on these wheels were BAD, and the cleaner removed it with relative ease!

Try it in some factory wheels that have been neglected so we can truly see how good if is! Hubcaps a a cake walk

Wow, worked really well. Mothers makes some really good products for OTC. Time for some new caps or a respray on that Escort.

this is my go to wheel/tire cleaner. it just WORKS. i like the fact you are using one product to tackle two jobs. i see AG has it by the gallon. going to have to order it. i like to pick up my stuff during sales etc. during the winter, so come spring i am ready. HORADING. on the same level as mothers, eagle one wheel/tire cleaner is also very good.
