Amazing Roll-Off
I recently had the opportunity to try this stuff on a boat. And no...I don't have pictures unfortunately. Been a little too busy to play photographer lately.
Anyways...I've been looking for a product to pre-clean boats and RVs. I heard some good things about this stuff...so I decided to buy some and try it out.
I must say, that it worked better than expected. I like to use it for the uncoated areas of fiberglass. Like the hull, and up top around the edges, or inside the boat. It did a great job at removing the water line, and yellow staining underneath the boat. I was psyched to see it clean up the underneath so nicely cause it's always a pain to clean up.
If you do boats...you really should try this stuff out.
I found it odd that it smells identical to Windex though. Makes me wonder if I could do the same thing with Windex, ha.

ARO is awesome stuff IMO.
Good to hear that you have had luck with boat and RV apps.
I've been using it for years on tires; wheels; wheel wells; mud flaps. It's a product that gets replaced by gal. size.
It's a must for taking the brownish bloom off tires to give you that deep black look.

Re: Amazing Roll-Off
I love this stuff but I don't get why people would use it for tires or plastic. I used it on tires, wheel wells and other plastics and wasn't impressed. I got better cleaning ability from apc+ which is also the better choice for the money. So I sat the ARO on the shelf for a couple months till I had a boat to detail and decided to try it on that. It cleaned the hull and top edges really well like Kristopher said. My client saw the boat after I just pre cleaned it with the ARO and he thought I already buffed and waxed it This gave me the idea to use ARO under the hood of cars like on the painted areas of the underside of the hood and around the engine bay area/firewall and I've never found a product work so great for that. I just used it to clean a very large white work van that hadn't been washed or waxed in 5 years. ARO(diluted) cut through tough grime build up that regular car washes could never clean so easily. With my experience I see ARO as a degreaser that leaves a waxy finish. This is not good for tires/trim especially if you plan on dressing them but this is just my opinion.
I don't mean to hi-jack your thread Kristopher. I was going to write a small review on this stuff myself but figured I'd share here instead since you just did a review.

Re: Amazing Roll-Off
Why does water have to activate it?? Can you not spray it to dry tires and walk away? Does activating it apply to boats and canvas?
And scientifically WHY if anyone knows
Thx
