Re: Meguiar's D/A Microfiber Correction System - 2004 F-150
yes , pressure should be applied with the finishing wax. I agree.
I'm not sure why the instruction video's show to use fast arm movement and no pressure. anytime I did this, it left the finish with either zero improvement, or decreased improvement and marring. Just like M205, you should use even pressure for the entire buffing cycle and not let up until the polisher is off.

Next detail I do I am going to give M205 a test with the finishing pad so I can apply some BFWD as the LSP instead of the finishing wax.
I'd much rather spend an extra 20 minutes to apply a good sealant than leave someone with the AIO carnauba stuff in the D301 finishing wax.
IMO, the finishing pad is too aggressive for M205 as a last step. that is unless the paint is SUPER hard I would imagine (paint that can finish polish with an orange light cutting pad and meduim/aggressive polish)
I use M205 with either a polishing or finishing foam pad for best results. IME.
please let us know your results after trying though, i'm interested to hear your experience with it.

I've found something i don't like about this kit....I'm color blind and I can't tell the difference between the pad colors
